Polymarket builder codes and fees

Last reviewed · By Louis Gherardi, editor · Nimb Markets

A Polymarket builder code is an identifier that third-party apps attach to the orders they send to Polymarket, so Polymarket can attribute the volume and the app can charge a builder fee: a flat percentage of the trade value, capped at 1% for taker orders and 0.5% for maker orders, added on top of any Polymarket fee. Nimb is a builder: it charges 0.33% on taker orders from 11 November 2026, included in the all-in amount the ticket shows.

How much is Nimb's builder fee?

0.33% of the order value on taker orders, from 11 November 2026, and nothing on reading. On a $100 order that is $0.33. The ticket folds it into the amount you type, with Polymarket's own fee on its own line. Worked example and break-even: fees and all-in pricing. Why Nimb is funded this way: independence and business model.

What is the Polymarket builder program?

Polymarket's programme for apps that route orders: builders register a profile, get a code, attach it to each order and get API keys, rate-limit tiers and, at higher tiers, rewards. Polymarket publishes a builder leaderboard and volume through its Data API (/v2/builders/leaderboard). Builder program overview · Polymarket API guide.
